When a wisdom tooth is lodged in the bone and soft tissue, this phenomenon is known as impaction and the removal of that tooth is known as disimpactions.
Disimpaction is initiated after the patient is anesthetized. The gums are incised and surgical instruments are used to partially remove the bone.
After the complete removal of all the pieces of wisdom tooth, the stitches are placed and the amount is decided by the dentist.
Once the removal is complete, a further set of instructions are placed by the dentist to ensure an easy recovery of the patient after the tooth removal.
